In Fall 2014, Dr. Edward R. Canda went on sabbatical during which he presented in the Czech Republic on spirituality and mental health in several locations.

His presentation, Spiritual Strengths Assessment and Practice for Mental Health Recovery, was translated into Czech and recorded. The audio files are embedded into each slide and contain both the English and Czech. Click on the speaker icon on each slide to hear Dr. Canda's presentation. Some slides have no audio. Many thanks to Ms.Gabriela Smetanova, who interpreted the English into Czech language.

In November 2015, Dr. Edward R. Canda was invited to speak at the symposium titled "Addressing spirituality in the Social Work Practice Field" hosted by Caritas Seoul.
