CSRE is active in the fields of higher and continuing education for professional groups and individuals interested in religion, spirituality, education and society. CSRE is engaged in partnerships within Children's Services in the UEA region in order to promote the transfer of professional and academic expertise in religious education and spiritual development. CSRE also engages in interdisciplinary partnerships within UEA and the region to develop higher and continuing education for spiritual wellbeing and to support and disseminate research in religious education, spiritual development, spirituality education, and spiritual wellbeing.
Higher Education Research Institute, UCLA. Spirituality in Higher Education: Students’ Search for Meaning and Purpose, a seven-year study examining the role that college plays in facilitating the development of students' spiritual qualities.
The study of spirituality as a dimension of professional practice in health, social work, and education has emerged since the mid-1980’s. The challenges vary from fundamental questions of how to think about and study spiritualities, to more practical problems of how to identify and provide for the spiritual needs of service users.
The Interfaith Center of New York (ICNY) works to overcome prejudice, violence, and misunderstanding by activating the power of the city’s grassroots religious and civic leaders and their communities.
